Hunting
A practical guide for finding cards in person, plus a Show Sheet saved in this browser. No specific shops or shows are listed here — dates and venues change, so check a show listing before you travel.
Local card shops
- Call ahead: ask whether the shop carries the set, the printing, and the condition you want before you go.
- Compare the shop price against this Radar market, low, and high for the same printing — and treat an extreme high as an outlier, not the going price. See Price sanity in each card detail view.
- Ask to inspect the card in good light before you pay: centering, edges, corners, and surface.
Card shows
- Bring your Looking for list and your Bringing to trade list below — both are saved in this browser only.
- Check the printing first (set, number, and variant), then the condition, then the price. A rare card in the wrong printing is a different card.
- Set a walk-away price before you negotiate, using the Radar market and low as your anchors.
- Keep trades simple: agree the trade value of each card before you swap, and check both cards in person.
Before you buy, anywhere
- Same printing? Same condition? Price within the low-to-market range, or is it an outlier high?
- If a price only makes sense as a graded or sold price, it is not comparable to the raw market prices shown here.
Find resellers near you
Search Google Maps for Pokémon resellers — national chains and local shops alike. Results come from Google Maps, not from verified listings on this site: check a shop before you travel, and official vs third-party status is whatever Maps lists. This site does not track live stock.
